Russel Wilkinson, Field Product Management Director, Xangati
We’re less than four months away from VMworld Las Vegas, and organizers are busy putting together the conference schedule. As in years past, they’re once again turning to you – the VI administrators, IT managers and channel partners – to make the choices about this year’s sessions.
I’d like to make the selection process even easier for you by highlighting some of the sure-fire winners. But to start I’d like to draw your attention to one session in particular – my own.
- Session 3320: Best Practices for Troubleshooting VDI User Experience Issues
VDI is a hot button for almost everyone. Certainly at Xangati we are passionate about developing and bringing to market innovative management solutions that are critical to the success of VDI initiatives – à la the Xangati VDI Dashboard!
But – at the end of the day – regardless of the technology or line of business – we learn best from real-world examples. I’m a customer guy. My job is to focus on customer needs, and – as such – I spend a great deal of time in the field.
And the stories I have! Please give me the chance to share some of them with you. I guarantee that you’ll be amazed at some of what you hear. My session will feature real-world examples of how large companies are rolling out VDI today. Hear their experiences navigating choppy waters and learn how they achieved a smooth and seamless end user experience for their end users that is finally living up to VDI’s great expectations.
I will walk you through specific troubleshooting scenarios in order to avoid some of their performance problems and help you succeed in your own deployments.
Do you want to deliver an optimal end user experience with your VDI initiative?
Of course you do! So go to VMworld 2011 Session Voting and vote ‘YES’ for SESSION 3320 moderated by me – Russel Wilkinson, Field Product Management Director, Xangati.
And just so you don’t think I’m entirely self-serving, I’d also like to point out a few other sessions that Xangati knows are certain to provide value and industry insights:
- Session 1235: Tuning PCoIP Display Protocol (Chuck Hirstius and Jonathan Miller)
- Session 1734: Advanced Virtual Machine Artistry: Tuning for the Cloud (Kendrick Coleman)
